Friday Pilots Club keep things upbeat & grungy on new single “I Don’t Care”

With the promise of a new EP on the horizon, Friday Pilots Club has dropped their latest single, titled “I Don’t Care.” The upbeat, yet lo-fi grungy feel of the song (visualized amazingly through the lyric video) contrasts beautifully against singer Caleb Hiltunen’s smooth and bold vocals. Described as a song about “a life where you never cared what other people thought,” the hopefulness of such a life comes through as you can’t help but bop along to the track.

I cannot wait until summer hits, as this feels like a song that is meant to be listened to loud, with the windows down, taking in the sun as you’re screaming along to the chorus. This is a song I can’t wait to hear live and sing along to while surrounded by a vivacious crowd doing the same.

If this banger of a song is any indication for what’s to come from Friday Pilots Club, I am more than stoked to see what’s next.
